The Department of Construction, Ho Chi Minh City has just launched a housing application - SXD247. The application is developed in collaboration with the FPT Information System Company (FPT IS).

This application includes the mobile version of the most useful online services available on the website of the Department.

App users can search for information on housing projects within Ho Chi Minh city. The available information includes projects’ square footage, investment scale and images as well as investor information, legal status, and construction progress. 

Apart from this, users can also check the status of applications, licenses, certificates and administrative procedures. 

In addition, users can send feedback or suggestions on resolving problems with construction, flooding, lighting systems, etc. The app will immediately inform the relevant units of the problems via the app itself as well as SMS. 

The Department of Construction hopes that this app can help residents and firms to avoid possible disputes with project investors when buying apartments in incomplete projects. More importantly, it will potentially reduce the number of fake projects being advertised.

The app can be downloaded from App Store or Google Play.

Currently, the app is only available in Vietnamese.
